What’s Included –
A comprehensive basics of photography workshop which includes both theory
and practical.
Suitable For –
All levels of photography. No prior or technical knowledge knowledge is required. All camera makes and models are welcome but must have manual mode and not point and shoot cameras.

Need a camera???
No problem. Please let us know in advance and the team at Ignite will supply you with a DSLR camera for the duration of your workshop. Please be advised you will need to bring your own SD card to the workshop.
Terms & Conditions
- Workshops/ECA’s can be rescheduled within 3 months of the originally booked workshop date(s).
- Workshop/ECA bookings can only be transferred ONCE, including in the event of a workshop relocation. If you transfer your workshop booking and later wish to cancel it, we will not be able to refund or reschedule you under any circumstances.
- Ignite reserves the right to change the location of any workshop to another location within the same city and/or emirate as deemed necessary in accordance with management discretion.
- In the event of Ignite having to temporally close due to unforeseen circumstances a credit note will be given for you to you use at a later date. No refund will be given.
- If you cancel your workshop/ECA a minimum of 7 days in advance of your workshop you will be issued a 90% refund or may be rescheduled to another date(s)
- If you cancel your workshop/ECA a minimum of 3 (72 hours) days in advance of your workshop no refund will be issued, but you may request to be rescheduled to another workshop date(s)
- If you cancel your workshop less than 3 days (72 hours) in advance of your workshop, no refund and no reschedule is possible
If you have a problem during your workshop/ECA, please inform us immediately so that we might endeavour to put things right. If your complaint is not resolved at the time, please follow this up within 21 days of your complaint by writing to us with your name, number, email and all other relevant information. It is strongly recommended that you communicate any complaint to us without delay. If you fail to follow this simple procedure, we will have been deprived of the opportunity to investigate and rectify your complaint asap and this may affect your rights under this contract.
We expect all children joining us for a face-to-face workshop to behave with respect to all they encounter, including their fellow participants and instructors. Ignite Creative Academy will not tolerate bullying lewd or disrespectful behaviour. All children will be on a three strike and out rule. If the child incurs a second-strike parents will be notified and if the child then gets the third strike out parents will be notified and will have to come and collect the child or a taxi will be arranged with the parents being charged.
All participants will be under the guidance and supervision of Ignite Creative Academy and since we take your child’s safety as the number one priority, all participants need to adhere to our rules and regulations set out as follows:
- Unless a participant is over 18, no alcohol or tobacco products will be permitted on our trip. No such facilities that supply these substances will be allowed to be visited by any participant during our trip.
- All participants need to adhere to instructions given to them on a daily basis by their instructors and guides for their own safety.
- In any kind of emergency, medical or other, the Ignite Creative Academy’s Instructors need to be notified immediately so that the correct source of action can take place.
Your contract is with Ignite Creative Academy
We arrange inclusive photography international trips and our published price is inclusive of transport, accommodation and some meals (please see itinerary notes to see whats covered in your trip). The published itinerary can from time to time change due to seasonal changes.
A contract between us will exist once your payment has cleared and we have confirmed this via email. You have a 7 day cooling off period from this time if you wish to cancel. This clause will not apply if your booking was made within 4 weeks of your trip.
Full payment for the trip is taken upfront from when you book.
The booking can’t be transferred.
If for any reason you cancel your trip after you have settled the balance you must notify us via email. The cancellation of your holiday comes into effect upon receipt of the written notification from you and the following cancellation charges will be charged:
- Less than 4 weeks before the start date – 60% of the total cost of the trip.
- Less than 2 weeks before start date – 80%
of the total cost of the trip. - Less than 7 days before start date – 100% of the total cost of the trip.
No refunds are available once a course has commenced, or in respect of any other products or services booked or utilised.
Cancellations will take place only due to extreme or unforeseen circumstances. There is a minimum number of 5 people to run a trip with Ignite Creative Academy. In the event of us making a cancellation, an alternative holiday date or a full refund will be offered.
No compensation of any kind or responsibility can be taken if due to a circumstance beyond our control. A circumstance beyond our or our supplier’s control is one that cannot be foreseen or avoided, even after taking all due care and includes but is not limited to war, terrorist activity, civil unrest, industrial disputes and bad weather situations or forecasts.
We accept responsibility for ensuring that the trip arrangements you book with us are supplied as described but sometimes the itinerary or accommodation may change. Furthermore, we cannot accept responsibility for any services that do not form part of our contract. This includes, for example, any additional services that you procure whilst on location that are not part of our package. These relate to ‘downtime activities’ as promoted on the website. The accommodation and transport arranged on your behalf belong to and are managed by an independent supplier who is subject to Public Liability Insurance.
Ignite Creative Academy accepts no responsibility or liability whatsoever for any government restraints, acts of war and terrorism, weather conditions, or for any misadventure or casualty or any other force majeure or causes beyond their control. Subject to the terms and conditions on this site, our liability shall be limited to up to the price paid for the booked arrangements.
If you require a PCR test to travel you must take one. This needs to be taken 48 hours before you travel. You will need to bring your positive result with you to the airport.
It is your responsibility to ensure that your passport and vaccinations are up to date if required:
Non EU residents should check visa requirements with their consulate, and obtain one if necessary. Residents of the United Kingdom/UAE do not require a visa but should have a full 10 year passport with at least 6 months remaining from the date of your return home.
If you need to borrow a camera from Ignite Creative Academy for your trip you will hold full responsibility for the camera. In the unfortunate circumstance the camera is broken you will be asked to pay for the repair. If the camera is lost or stolen you will pay for the costs of a new camera to be replaced.
