Ignite Winter Break Club 2026 Powered By Canon

Ignite proudly hosted its annual Winter Photography Camp at English Horizon School, marking our fourth consecutive year at this wonderful venue. Each year, the camp continues to grow in both enthusiasm and attendance, and 2026 has been no exception. Seeing the increasing number of young photographers joining us is a true testament to the camp’s success and the strong partnership we have built with the school community.

The five-day camp focuses on introducing children to the fundamentals of photography in a fun, engaging, and hands-on environment. Throughout the week, students learn the basic principles of composition, lighting, perspective, and storytelling through images. From understanding how to frame the perfect shot to experimenting with creative angles, every day offers new skills and exciting challenges.

One of the highlights of the camp is watching the children gain confidence behind the camera. Many arrive with little or no experience, but by the end of the week they are capturing thoughtful, imaginative, and technically impressive photographs. Our instructors guide them step by step, encouraging creativity while teaching practical techniques they can continue to use long after the camp ends.

A particularly special moment comes at the end of the week when the children select and print their favourite photographs. There is always a sense of pride as they hold their finished prints, ready to take home and share with family and friends. These printed photos are more than just pictures; they represent new skills, creativity, and achievement.

We are incredibly proud of how the camp has grown over the past four years and are grateful to English Horizon School for their continued support. We look forward to returning next winter for another inspiring week behind the lens.
