Ignite recently visited Dubai Schools Al Barsha to deliver an engaging and educational photography workshop for Year 9 students. The four-hour session was designed to introduce students to the basics of photography while encouraging creativity and hands-on learning.

Throughout the workshop, students explored a wide range of topics, including camera fundamentals, composition, lighting, and storytelling through images. The Ignite team explained key concepts in a simple and interactive way, making it easy for students with little or no prior experience to understand and enjoy photography.

One of the highlights of the workshop was the practical element. Students were given the opportunity to apply what they learned by taking their own photographs and experimenting with different techniques. There was plenty of printing involved, allowing students to see their work come to life and understand the importance of presentation in photography.

The session was highly interactive, with students asking questions, sharing ideas, and receiving feedback on their work. This hands-on approach helped build confidence and sparked a strong interest in visual storytelling.
