Ignite Photo Walks Powered By Canon @Al Bastikya, Dubai

In May, we hosted another inspiring photo walk, this time along the canal in the historic district of Al Bastakiya, Dubai. Over the course of three hours, our young photography students explored a wide range of genres—from street photography and architecture to nature and portraiture.

The area’s charming alleyways, traditional wind towers, and waterfront views provided the perfect backdrop for creativity. It was not only a hands-on learning experience but also a chance for students to engage with the city in a new and meaningful way.

These monthly photo walks are a key part of our programme, helping students apply their skills outside the classroom. Each walk is designed to offer a unique environment and new challenges, helping to build both confidence and creativity behind the lens.

We’re already looking forward to next month’s walk, which will take place at The Green Planet—a lush, biodome rainforest in the heart of Dubai. It promises to be a fresh and exciting setting for our growing community of young photographers.
