At Ignite, we believe in nurturing creativity and igniting passion through the art of photography. Recently, we had the pleasure of collaborating with Repton School in Al Barsha to conduct a dynamic workshop introducing the basics of photography to Year 10 students. Over the course of two engaging sessions, spanning a total of four hours, we embarked on a journey of exploration, discovery, and artistic expression.

With enthusiasm coursing through the air, we welcomed a group of 30 eager students, each armed with a camera and a thirst for knowledge. Guided by our experienced instructors, we delved into the fundamentals of photography, unraveling the mysteries of exposure, composition, and storytelling.

Throughout the workshop, we ventured into the vibrant corridors and scenic surroundings of Repton School, transforming everyday scenes into captivating photographic moments. From capturing the interplay of light and shadow to composing compelling portraits, each student embraced the opportunity to experiment and grow as a visual storyteller.

As the sessions unfolded, we witnessed the transformative power of photography as a medium for self-expression and exploration. With each click of the shutter, the students not only captured images but also discovered new perspectives, honed their technical skills, and unleashed their creativity.

The culmination of our journey came as the students proudly printed out their photographs, each image a testament to their newfound knowledge and artistic vision. From candid snapshots to meticulously composed masterpieces, the gallery showcased the diverse talents and unique voices of each participant.

As we bid farewell to Repton School, our hearts are filled with gratitude for the warm welcome and enthusiastic participation of the students. It was truly a pleasure to witness their growth and passion for photography, and we look forward to the possibility of returning for future workshops.
