Ignite Schools Workshop Powered By Canon @ Repton School, Dubai
————————
Recently, Ignite had the pleasure of visiting Dubai Heights Academy for a two-day photography workshop in March. The aim was simple yet profound: to introduce students to the fundamentals of photography. Over the course of our visit, students delved into both theory and practice, experiencing the joy of capturing moments through lenses.
After an insightful theoretical session, students eagerly explored the school premises, armed with Canon cameras, to unleash their creativity. One of the highlights was the dedicated area housing animals, where students immersed themselves in capturing captivating shots of their furry and feathered friends.
Throughout the two days, more than 80 students enthusiastically embraced the opportunity to handle Canon cameras, channeling their newfound knowledge into stunning imagery. The excitement was palpable as they snapped away, each click a step closer to mastering the art of photography.
As the workshop concluded, the culmination of efforts came to fruition with the selection of the finest photographs. These masterpieces were then printed and proudly taken home by their creators, serving as tangible reminders of their achievements.
Reflecting on the success of our visit, we are already looking forward to returning in the upcoming academic year. Ignite is committed to nurturing young talents and fostering a passion for photography among students. We are thrilled to continue our journey with Dubai Heights Academy, inspiring the next generation of photographers to explore, create, and capture the beauty of the world around them.
