Ignite Schools Workshop Powered By Canon @ Dove Green School, Dubai

Tn April 2025, Ignite had the pleasure of visiting Dove School in Dubai to host an exciting photography workshop for 26 eager Year 7 students. The session, which lasted four hours, was packed with creativity, learning, and hands-on experience, making it an unforgettable event for everyone involved.

From the moment we arrived, the energy and enthusiasm of the students were infectious. Many were already curious about photography, and this workshop gave them the perfect opportunity to explore their interests further. The session began with a short introduction to the basics of photography, including composition, lighting, angles, and storytelling through images. We were impressed by how quickly the students picked up key concepts and applied them in their practical exercises.

Throughout the workshop, the students were encouraged to experiment with different techniques, express their unique perspectives, and collaborate with one another. They captured impressive shots around the school campus, showcasing a remarkable level of creativity and attention to detail for their age group.

The highlight of the day was the mini photo challenge, where students were given themes and asked to tell a visual story through a series of photos. The results were outstanding, and several students showed real potential for developing their skills further.

We’re incredibly proud of the students and grateful to the staff at Dove School for their warm welcome and support. The workshop was not only fun but also a wonderful reminder of how art and creativity can inspire young minds.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Dove School and are already looking forward to returning in the new academic year to continue nurturing the next generation of visual storytellers.
