gnite recently had the pleasure of hosting an exhilarating photowalk at the Dubai Rugby 7’s, an event powered by Canon. This unique opportunity allowed young photographers to dive into the dynamic world of sports photography, gaining insights into capturing fast-paced action and mastering the fundamentals of shutter speed and aperture.

Against the backdrop of the thrilling rugby matches and the energetic atmosphere of the event, participants had the chance to put their photography skills to the test. Armed with Canon cameras, they immersed themselves in the excitement of the games, seeking out the perfect shots to freeze moments of intensity, athleticism, and emotion.

Throughout the photowalk, our experienced mentors guided the aspiring photographers, offering tips and techniques to enhance their images. From adjusting shutter speeds to control motion blur to manipulating apertures to achieve desired depth of field, participants learned how to harness these fundamental elements of photography to convey the energy and spirit of the sporting action.

For many of the young photographers, the experience was not only educational but also empowering. As they experimented with different camera settings and perspectives, they gained a newfound appreciation for the artistry and technical skill required to capture compelling sports imagery.
