CJA Spring Break Workshop with Cognita Schools, Dubai

Recently, Ignite Creative Academy in sponsorship with Canon Juniors Academy organised a basics of photography workshop for children during the spring break. The workshop was held at Horizon International School, Dubai from April 3 to 5, and at Royal Guildford School, Dubai from April 5 to 7. Four Cognita schools participated in the workshop, with 10 kids from each school attending.

During the workshop, the children were provided with a Canon 4000d camera for the duration of the workshop. They were taught the basics of photography, including the use of different camera settings, composition techniques, and lighting. The children were also given a workshop to complete, which helped them to put their newly acquired skills into practice.

To encourage the children to continue with their photography journey, Canon Juniors Academy provided them with a voucher to purchase the camera for 900aed. This allowed the children to continue to practice their new skills and develop their love for photography.

Throughout the workshop, the children took loads of photos, and the best of these were printed out and stuck into a workbook. This provided the children with a memento of their experience and allowed them to showcase their new skills to family and friends.

Overall, the Canon Juniors Academy photography workshop was a great success. The children learned new skills, had fun, and were able to take their first steps on their photography journey. We look forward to seeing what the future holds for these talented young photographers.
