Introduction: In October, we had the privilege of igniting creative sparks in the young minds of the students at Dubai Schools, Al Barsha. Over 140 enthusiastic kids from grade 4 and 5 joined us on a journey through the lens, where they had the opportunity to explore the art of photography.

Capturing Moments with Canon: To create a genuine hands-on experience, we provided Canon cameras to our budding photographers. They eagerly embraced the cameras, learning how to frame, focus, and shoot like pros.

Exploring Al Barsha’s Beauty: We encouraged the kids to explore the beauty of Al Barsha through their viewfinders. From the vibrant streets to the serene parks, they captured the essence of this stunning neighborhood.

Printed Memories: But we didn’t stop at just digital photos. One of the highlights of our workshop was helping the kids print their best shots. With smiles as bright as their photographs, they couldn’t wait to take their creations home to share with family and friends. These prints will serve as a lasting reminder of their creative journey and a source of pride in their newfound skills.

Fostering Creativity and Confidence: Beyond photography, the workshop aimed to nurture creativity and boost confidence in each child. It’s not just about taking pictures; it’s about telling stories, expressing emotions, and seeing the world in a new light.

Gratitude: We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Dubai schools who welcomed us with open arms. The enthusiasm and energy of the kids were truly inspiring.

Looking Ahead: The success of this workshop has left us inspired, and we’re already planning future initiatives to further ignite creativity in the hearts of young learners.We also aim to team up with their sister schools in Mirdiff and Nad Al Sheba.
