Ignite Creative Academy was born out of the love of teaching all things creative.
Along with our educational partner Canon, we are professional coaches for both kids and adults education. Fundamentally we run kids online ECAs (Canon Juniors Academy) for schools where we give our students a fun, exciting, interactive and hands on learning experience
We have designed our courses for all different levels and age groups. As part of the educational experience, we also run exciting excursions/camps within the UAE as well as amazing international destinations so you can get to put the theory you learn into practice.
Nick Arundel – Founder
A passion to tell stories through imagery.
Nick Arundel is a UK-born photographer whose passion lies in telling stories through captivating imagery. Specialising in landscape, street, and travel photography, Nick’s journey began during an awe-inspiring 15-month global adventure across 28 countries. This transformative experience deepened his love for capturing the world’s beauty and diversity through the lens.
Nick is the founder of Ignite Creative Academy, a platforms that nurture creativity and innovation. Having moved back to the UK in 2023 from the UAE, where he was based for 6 years, he leads workshops and training programs focused on travel and landscape photography. His sessions are designed to empower photographers of all levels with professional techniques and insights, unlocking the artistic potential of their craft.
One of Nick’s most fulfilling ventures is the Canon Juniors Academy, an exciting collaboration with Canon that introduces after-school clubs and holiday programs for young creators. Through this initiative, Nick inspires the next generation of photographers, encouraging them to showcase their creativity and refine their skills.
With a commitment to storytelling and a passion for inspiring others, Nick continues to leave his mark as both a photographer and mentor, helping others see the world through a lens of curiosity and wonder.
Savio Pereira
Always willing to go that extra mile.
Savio graduated from St.Xaviers college in Mumbai and moved to Dubai to work in 2018. He has completed his Diploma in Fashion Photography from one of the oldest photography schools in Mumbai. He took up photography as a hobby and started a full-time career where he now works with clients from Dubai, Mumbai and Goa.
Savio joined the Ignite team in early 2023 and already is a popular member of the team working in and around the schools workshops. His attention to detail in getting the best from each student regardless of their age and knowledge is exceptional and is always willing to go that extra mile to get the best our of the students.
For the new academic year 2023/24, Savio will also be hosting our new Saturday school classes where he will be getting to work with lots of new students (and some old) which he is very much looking forward to.
